We were contracted to convert and extend an empty property in the village of Plawsworth.  The project included major underpinning and structural works to the existing property along with a double story bespoke extension built over a newly built double garage.  The extension and front of the house was rendered with a styple finish and blended into the existing walls.

The project was completed within an 8 week window and we re-visited the property some weeks later to take off the existing house tiles and install new clay pan tiles along with breathable felt membrane, eaves support systems and replacement fascias & soffits.

We were contracted to construct a rear stone extension including a feature lantern roof light window on top of a sarna flat roof system along with the general conversion of the existing attic room into a fourth bedroom.  We were fortunate to have the clients move out during the building works as the whole house was converted and altered to allow for an additional bedroom in the loft incl an open plan ensure, newly installed fire doors throughout, electrical and heating upgrades and general decorating.

We purpose made the new entrance doorway into the extension to match the existing hardwood feature panelling with oak surrounds etc.  All new features were identically matched throughout in keeping with the traditional feel of what has turned out to be a beautiful period home.

We were approached by the clients to demolish the existing conservatory and build a new extension in its place. We organised a local architect to the company to draw up the plans and the specification and we completed the works within four weeks from initial commencement.

We were contracted to remove a large single story extension to the rear of the property incl the existing roof tiles and form an additional bespoke bedroom incl private ensuite in the attic room along with a large rear extension consisting of 2nr large roof lights over the new kitchen.  We had the benefit of the clients moving out of the house while the works were on going as the whole house was re-wired, the hating system was renewed and all doors and frames were removed to make way for fire frames and doors.  We installed a new ‘kite winding’ staircase from the first floor into the proposed attic room along with the existing bathroom being totally refurbished, new external patio and landscaping works.
